BBmilk DG is a specialist medical infant formula, particularly recommended for the nutrition of babies with minor gastrointestinal disturbances such as colic, abdominal distension and constipation which may occur in the first months of life.

BBmilk DG is a food for special medical purpose, specifically indicated for the feeding of infants with minor gastrointestinal problems such as colic, abdominal distension and constipation, which can occur in the first months of life. In fact, the BBmilk DG formulation contains hydrolyzed serum proteins, beta-palmitate, fermented milk, galactoligosaccharides, 2′-fucosyllactose (HMO) and a reduced lactose content. BBmilk DG also contains arachidonic acid and nucleotides. BBmilk DG is suitable for feeding infants from birth to 12th month of life.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
Breast milk is the ideal food for your baby and should be preferred and used for as long as possible. Infant formula milk should only be used when advised by a paediatrician.

Partially skimmed milk with reduced lactose content, vegetable oils (sunflower, palm, palm kernel, soybean, rapeseed), starch, demineralized whey powder, galactoligosaccharides from milk, milk lactose, maltodextrin, skimmed fermented milk powder, hydrolyzed proteins whey concentrate, whey protein concentrate, mineral salts (tripotassium citrate, hydrogen calcium phosphate, potassium chloride, trisodium citrate, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, zinc iodide potassium, sodium selenite, copper sulphate, manganese sulfate), oil derived from the microalga Schizochytrium sp. (contains DHA), 2′-fucosyllactose, vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin D, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, niacin, biotin, vitamin B12, vitamin K, folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin B6), extracted oil from Alpine Mortierella (contains AA), choline bitartrate, inositol, taurine, emulsifier: soy lecithin, nucleotides (cytidine-5′-monophosphate, uridine-5′-monophosphate, adenosine-5’monophosphate, inosin-5′-monophosphate, guanosine- 5′-monophosphate), L-carnitine.

How to use

Preparing the bottle

 

Before preparation wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilize bottles, teat and ring;

boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 50 °C;

fill the measuring cup with levelled and not pressed product;

add the prescribed number of level measuring cups to the bottle;

close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder; 

before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the back of the hand; the temperature of the milk must not exceed 37 ° C. After use, wash and dry the measuring cup thoroughly.

WARNING:

  • Inadequate preparation and storage can cause ailments or health risks for the infant. Follow carefully the instructions;
  • it is recommended to prepare milk only at the time of the meal and to consume it within two hours;
  • do not heat or boil the milk once prepared;
  • do not reuse any leftover milk after the meal;
  • use only the measuring cup included in the package.

INDICATIVE TABLE OF POWER SUPPLY (unless otherwise indicated by the Pediatrician):

* The progressive reduction in the number of milky meals accompanies the start of weaning.

The quantities are however indicative and may vary according to the Pediatrician according to the age and appetite of the child. One levelled measuring cup of BBmilk DG corresponds to 4.5 g equal to 21.5 kcal.

 

Storage

The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere. Once opened, the package must be properly closed and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator). The product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.

Information

The reconstitution of BBmilk DG is 13.5% and is obtained by adding a levelled measuring cup of powder for every 30 ml of water.
