Royal Jelly is the nutritional product par excellence: it is produced by the worker bees for feeding the Queen Bee and it is extremely rich in vitamins, amino acids and enzymes that stimulate cell metabolism. Royal Jelly is the best natural tonic and for this reason it is useful, especially for children, as a toning and revitalising agent in cases of asthenia or physical and mental fatigue. It is also capable of restoring appetite due to its metabolism stimulating action. BUONA ENERGIA ORO contains Fresh Royal Jelly which thanks to the processing technology retains all its properties. Standardised and with a high titration of 10-hydroxy-decenoic acid (the most active component), it is guaranteed and certified for the absence of antibiotics, heavy metals and allergens.

The small berries of Dog Rose are the most concentrated “natural source” of Vitamin C, even 50-100 times higher than that of traditional citrus fruits (oranges and lemons). The effectiveness of Vitamin C is well known in cases of debilitation, season changes and colds and flu, and since it cannot be synthesised directly by the body, it has to be introduced with a healthy balanced died or alternatively, with an appropriate supplement.

Royal Jelly is probably one of the finest products that people obtain from beekeeping.
It is nothing more than a gelatinous secretion produced by the hypopharynx and mandibular glands of nurse bees (workers aged between 5 and 14 days from emerging from the cocoon). It is used by bees as food for the larvae in the first 3-4 days of age after hatching as well as for the queen bee for the duration of her life. The administration of this substance to the larvae determines its role. In fact, if
the bees are fed with royal jelly throughout
their larval stage,
they are transformed into queens (hence the term “royal jelly”). It consists of:

  • Carbohydrates from 14.5 to 15% (mostly glucose and fructose and, in lesser proportions, sucrose, maltose, trehalose and melibiose)
  • Proteins 13-18% (amino acids in free state or combined)
  • Lipids 3-6%
  • Water 50-65%
  • Vitamin B5 (royal jelly is the product richest in vitamin B5 known in nature), B6, C, oligoelements, Acetylcholine, antibiotic factors (1-2%).

Its unique composition makes it an exceptionally valuable food. The use of royal jelly is particularly suitable for children. It stimulates the body, the immune system, and especially the appetite. Lack of appetite is a common disorder in childhood and in many cases it is transient in origin, but always causes some degree of concern among parents. The use of royal jelly products appears to be a great natural remedy to stimulate appetite, thanks also to the contribution of B vitamins.
