Description

DACRIONET are disposable ophthalmic gauzes soaked in a solution of hyaluronic acid and Aloe vera.

They cleanse, moisturise, soften and soothe the eyelid and eyelash area; therefore they are useful for the daily care of the area around the eyes in adults and children, whilst respecting the physiological pH of the eye.
DACRIONET gauzes are ideal for peeling skin caused by eyelid inflammation or allergy, and as a post-treatment following blepharitis or blepharoconjunctivitis. They are also useful for the removal of cosmetic residues from the eyelids and the eyelashes.
They can also be used by contact lens wearers.

DACRIONET is a disposable product.
Hypoallergenic nonwoven fabric gauze soaked in isotonic cleaning solution at pH 7.2 with hyaluronic acid and Aloe vera.

Alcohol- and paraben-free
DOES NOT CONTAIN: chlorhexidine, thimerosal, benzalkonium chloride, phenoxyethanol.

How to use

To use DACRIONET correctly:

Wash hands thoroughly;
Open the bag starting at the pre-marked cut;
Remove the gauze and apply it to the area around the eyes, massaging and gently cleansing eyelashes and eyelids.

Where there are secretions or persistent residues on the eyelids and eyelashes, it is preferable to soften them before removing them, exerting gentle movements towards the outside; if necessary, heat the closed bag in warm water (40°C approx.) for a few minutes, using hot gauze as a hot compress and then massage gently. This can be particularly useful in the case of the occlusion of the lacrimal canaliculus.
Never reuse the same gauze; instead, throw it away immediately after use.

Do not apply the same gauze to both eyes; instead, always use a new gauze for each application.

Information

Hyaluronic acid is a linear polysaccharide of high molecular weight, obtained by bacterial fermentation of Bacillus subtilis and consists of the repetition of disaccharide units of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. It is a molecule present in the tissues of all mammals, and has high viscoelastic properties and a great ability to hydrate. It is able to supply and stabilise the tear film and to promote cell regeneration.
Aloe vera, from the family Liliaceae, is a succulent perennial grass which grows up to 1 metre tall, on dry and sandy soil. A thick, concentrated and gel-like juice is extracted from its leaves. The juice is rich in polysaccharides, and has a hydrating and regenerating effect.
